Placement Exam Schedule

 Placement exams are offered to current Seattle University students to determine which language class is appropriate. While the successful completion of these placement exams may satisfy all or part of the modern language requirement for the College of Arts & Sciences, no Seattle University credit is awarded.

100-level Spanish Exams are regularly offered Thursdays at 12:30 pm in the Modern Languages & Cultures Department during fall, winter, and spring quarters. See below for Spanish Exam dates. To register for a Spanish Exam, visit the MLC Office in Xavier 100. Please contact MLC faculty for Chinese, French, German, Italian, and Japanese placement exams.
