The Arts and Sciences Graduate Council (ASGC), in partnership with Career Services and the Graduate Student Council (GSC), hosted the Get Connected! A&S Grad Students Networking Night. Graduate students from the College of Arts and Sciences were given an opportunity to network with graduate program alumni, fellow students, and colleagues. The night included a facilitated alumni panel and networkers from the following organizations:  YouthCare, Balagan Theatre, Seattle Police Department, Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, Leading from the Heart, Federal Way Symphony, Tacoma Police Department, US Marshals Service, the Ballard Boys and Girls Club, and Family & Friends of Violent Crime, University of Washington Athletics, Washington Interscholastic Activities Association, and Seattle University. The Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, Dean David Powers, was also in attendance to address the attendees. We had a successful turnout, with a total of 70 attendees. Students had a great time networking, and were able to make connections with alumni and fellow students from a variety of Arts and Sciences programs and careers. The Dean was thrilled with the attendance and the interaction between the graduate students and the networkers.
