David Chow has begun to serve in the position of Academic Development Officer for the College of Arts and Sciences. David brings thirteen years of professional experience in education. Most recently, David was the Director of Admission and Advancement at Bertschi School located here on Capitol Hill. Prior experience includes development positions as Assistant Director of Development for the Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity and for the School of Pharmacy at the University of Washington. He is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University. David currently serves on the board of the Northwest Development Officers Association and was the recipient of the 2005 CASE Mark S. Young Newcomer’s Award, an award that recognizes excellence in new development professionals. David is very excited to be joining the College of Arts and Sciences and we are quite pleased to have him with us. His wife, Jessica Chow, is an SU alumnae from the College of Education.

The College of Arts and Sciences is the oldest undergraduate and graduate college affiliated with Seattle University, the Northwest's largest independent university.
