I. CHINESE MINOR REQUIREMENTS:

1. Fill out a formal application through the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures.

2. Completion of 35 credits in Chinese: CHIN115-CHIN315. The student must maintain an overall average 2.00 (C) in the minor courses with no grade below "C". "P" and "S" grades are not acceptable.

3. Consult with your minor advisor if you have already had advanced language proficiency or your mother tongue is Chinese.

II. COURSES & CREDITS TAKEN WITH THE SU STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM AND OTHER INSTITUTIONS:

        For students who participate in the Seattle University Study Abroad Program at Suzhou China, up to fifteen (15) credits can be counted towards the minor requirment.

        Note: The Seattle University Chinese program can accept only 15 credits in total from the approved non-SU programs combined.
