Lesson 12 Practice -- Questions & Answers

Here are the specific steps that we suggest you follow when practicing these questions:

Step 1: Don't look at the scripts of the questions. Just listen to all questions one by one. Do not try to answer, and just see if you understand. Mark down the number of the question that you don't understand to check later on.

Step 2: Listen to the questions again. Try to answer each this time. Mark down the number of the question that you have trouble answering.

Step 3: Check with the scripts of the questions. Make sure that you thoroughly understand how the questions are structured and are able to ask similar questions yourself. Further help will be provided.

You should be fine if you use a computer with Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Otherwise, you need some sort of Chinese fonts installed on your computer to read the coded Chinese characters and Pinyin correctly. Or you can print out a user-friendly copy.

1	你上次去饭馆吃饭，那儿的人多不多？ Nǐ shàng cì qù fànguǎn chīfàn, nàr de rén duō bù duō?
2	要是一个饭馆有一些椅子，你能说那儿一定(yi2ding4: surely)有位子吗？ Yào shì yí gè fànguǎn yǒu yìxiē yǐzi, nǐ néng shuō nàr yídìng yǒu wèizi ma?
