SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships are available for students in their senior year who display excellence and promise in their creative and academic endeavors. Work study eligible students can apply for positions in the costume or scene shop. 

Artistic Achievement in Theatre Award

The Artistic Achievement in Theatre Award is granted each year to a junior or senior Theatre major who demonstrates excellence in the program, artistically and academically. The award recipient is determined by faculty committee.

Funding for the award is generated by ticket sales from Seattle University theatre productions. The grass roots spirit of the award is embodied in the person of Father Hayden Vachon, who used to raise money for the arts with a tin can in hand. This spirit is evident in the fact that the funding for the award comes from the act of creating theatre itself through Seattle University theatre productions.
