The Young Eight, String Musicians
America’s only professional string octet, The Young Eight, return to Seattle University for their third annual residency. The Young Eight will host guest performance master classes, clinics and lectures that are all open to SU students. The Young Eight has established itself as one of the next generation’s most dynamic and energetic chamber ensembles, presenting concerts and educational programs across the country. Founded in 2002 by Dr. Quinton I. Morris, the critically acclaimed octet is dedicated to exposing various communities to the arts through classical music.
