Arnold Designs Costumes for “These Streets” at the ACT Theatre

Tuesday, March 05, 2013Bookmark and Share

Theatre Professor Harmony Arnold designed the costumes for the original play “These Streets,” now at the ACT Theatre. Created by Sarah Rudinoff, Gretta Harley, and Elizabeth Kenny, the play focuses on women musicians during the heyday of Seattle’s grunge scene.

“'These Streets' is a gritty, funny, and powerful fictional story where the characters' past and present lives collide with their past and present music, played and sung by the performers and a live band,” Harmony said. “I captured that in the costumes.”

A trailer for the play, which runs through March 10, is here.

The College of Arts and Sciences, the largest college in Seattle University, offers 42 undergraduate majors, 37 minors, and 7 master's degrees, including an MFA in Arts Leadership.
