    Biography

    Jon Gould teaches nonprofit advocacy for MNPL. Currently, he serves as Deputy Director for Children's Alliance where he coordinates the organization's public policy, mobilization, communications, and lobbying. Jon Gould holds a BA in History from Cornell University, and a Master in Public Administration from the University of Washington.

    Jon brings over 20 years of leadership and management experience to his teaching. He has an extensive history of community involvement in economic, racial justice, human services, and children's issues.

    He currently serves on the board of Washington United for Marriage, Washington Coalition for Insurance Parity, and is the Vice President and a founding board member of the Washington Budget and Policy Center. He previously worked for the Low Income Housing Institute, Soup Line Fundraiser, and the Tenants Union.
