Rosie Newman, who received her MA in Psychology in 2010, was elected president of theWashington State Association for Play Therapy. Newman is a child and family therapist.
Sharon N. Williams has been hired by CD Forum as the new managing director. CD Forum is the only local, nonprofit organization solely dedicated to presenting emerging Black arts, artists, and ideas in the Seattle area.
Interdisciplinary Arts major Sarah Hiraki, class of 2012, is featured in “LOLwork” on Bravo. The "documentary comedy” follows the lives of the creative team at ICanHasCheezburger.com where Hiraki is an art director. The show has its premiere on Nov. 7.
Honors Program graduate Alison Staudinger, class of 2005, has joined the UW - Green Bay faculty in Democracy and Justice Studies , an interdisciplinary program encompassing history, political science, sociology, law, and economics.
