    Poverty Law Conference

    Friday, February 19th- Saturday, February 20th, 2016, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM at Sullivan Hall

    Seattle University School of Law is hosting the Seattle Poverty Law Conference.The Poverty Law Conference will focus on the connection between academics and activism, broadly understood. This symposium will explore how members of various communities directly engage with activists to effect social, legal, and policy changes; how scholarship can help improve the lives of the poor; how to educate the next generation of poverty warriors; and most importantly, to ensure that the voices of traditionally marginalized people are heard.

    LSAT Prep Panel

    Wednesday, March 2, 2016, 6:00-8:00PM in BANN 503

    Come learn how to study for the LSAT! Representatives from local test prep companies will teach sections of the LSAT, review preparation materials, and answer your questions. This is a great event to attend if you are in the midst of studying or just starting to plan for how you will prepare for the LSAT. Food provided.

    Tuesday, May 17th 2016, 12:30-1:20PM in Casey Commons

    Come meet SU alum who are currently in law school or who are young attorneys practicing in the Seattle area. Bring your questions - how did you decide to law school, was a good fit, what factors influenced your law school choice, what is your current practice area, etc. - and enjoy lunch while learning more about your career plans. Food provided.
