    Biography
I am working as an Academic Advisor in the Colleges of Arts and Sciences and hope to be a support for new and continuing students. I am starting my first year as a grad student through the Student Development program here at SU.  Previously I worked for a non-profit that focused on community development and engagement in Atlanta, GA.  However I grew up in Seattle and I’m excited to get to know this city again as I explore the hole in the wall restaurants and coffee shops. I play on a rec soccer team and love to stay active throughout the year with hiking and camping, even braving the rain.

    Biography
I earned a Master’s degree in Student Development Administration from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Washington. Prior to working in the College of Arts and Sciences at SU, I served as an Educational Planner at Edmonds Community College and as the Leadership Development Fellow in the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University. I also have experience working as a study abroad advisor and as a bank teller.

In my role as Academic Advisor, I enjoy engaging in conversation with students around ways to deepen the SU experience. I am active in campus committee work which aims to enrich and enhance the quality of academic advising at SU. My husband, Matt, and I have a fun-loving toddler, Brandon, who entertains us with silliness. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, running my dog, spending quiet time reading, and enjoying all that the Seattle area has to offer.

    Biography
This year I am an academic advisor in the College of Arts and Sciences. I am greatly looking forward to helping students successfully plan their academic endeavors but also get to know them and have conversations around making the most of their experience at Seattle U. I am a first year graduate student here in the Student Development Administration Program. I was born and raised in Tacoma, WA and received my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Washington so I love being in this area. Outside of work and school, some of the things I love to do are play tennis, go shopping, and finding yummy happy hour places!
