Academic Advising

For the 2004-2005 academic year, the College of Arts and Sciences has hired its first fulltime Academic Advising Coordinator, Suki Kwon.

In recognition of the importance of academic advising of A&S majors, Ms. Kwon will be a member of the College's Executive Committee and of the Dean's staff.

Thank you to the College Society who did a first-rate survey and report on the pressing need for an in-house Academic Adviser for A&S majors -- a conclusion that was endorsed by the Center for Student Success, the Pre-Major Studies program, the Registrar and by the A&S Executive Committee.
