  • Alumni Update: Sahnica Washington

    Alum Sahnica Washington '99, Liberal Studies major and Social Work minor, was named principal of Roxhill Elementary School in Seattle. The announcement was made by Seattle Pulbic Schools Superintendent Jose Banda.

    Previously, Ms. Washington was the Summer Semester manager in 2010, and she was the Summer Semester principal at Roxhill in 2007 and 2008. She has also served as an elementary school teacher at Fairmount Park, Rainier View and Emerson elementary schools. She earned her Masters in teachng from the College of Education. More here.

    The College of Arts and Sciences, the largest college in Seattle University, offers 42 major and 37 minor degrees as well as 7 graduate degrees.
