  • Fine Arts Welcomes Trung Pham, S.J., M.F.A

    Trung Pham, S.J., M.F.A., joins the faculty in the visual arts program in the Fine Arts Department this fall. Fr. Pham received his M.F.A. in drawing and painting with a secondary field in sculpture at the Pratt Institute in New York. He received his M.Div. and S.T.L in theological aesthetics from the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley. He was ordained as a Jesuit priest this spring.

    Fr. Pham has taught at Santa Clara University where his sculpture “Saint Clare” and painting “Transformation” are displayed. His works have been exhibited at the Bade Museum in Berkeley, De Saisset and Triton Museums in Santa Clara, and Greenlease Gallery in Kansas City, MO.

    The College of Arts and Sciences, the largest college in Seattle University, offers 33 undergraduate and 7 advanced degrees, including an MFA in Arts Leadership.
