Junior Robert Noble and his teammate Garrett Mutchler from Portland State University took top honors at the regional debate tournament on April 4-5. The debate, held in Portland Oregon, is the last tournament before the national championships on April 13 – 15 in Salem, OR. Noble is doing a double major in political science and economics. He and Mutchler competed against more than 20 teams from six regional universities. “This has been a terrific season for our team,” said debate coach Sophia Sanders, class of 2011. “We have an unbroken streak of making it into the final round in every tournament.” The College of Arts and Sciences, the largest college in Seattle University, offers 33 undergraduate and 7 advanced degrees
