Professor Dan Tripps, Director of the Center for the Study of Sport and Exercise and its Human Performance Laboratory, addresses what it takes to be a top athlete at 6:30 p.m. on November 29 at the University of Washington. Tripps has been a coach for world-class swimmers and triathletes, including members of the U.S. Olympic team. Tripps joined the College of Arts and Sciences faculty in 2006. His teaching and research focus on the science of elite human performance, sport science and technology, and the psychology of leadership and achievement.
The College of Arts and Sciences, the largest college in Seattle University, offers 33 undergraduate and 7 advanced degrees, including an M.A. in Sport Administration and Leadership.
