  • Hansen Presents on Wonderment and Psychotherapy

    May 12, 2011

Visiting Psychology Professor Finn Thorbjørn Hansen presents “Wonderment and Dialogue in Psychotherapy,” on May 18. Hansen , Associate Professor in the Centre of Higher Education Research at the University of Aarhus, Denmark, is a leading scholar whose research focuses on the relationship between client and therapist within a philosophical and existential construct.

“Hansen brings a new perspective to the critical relationship between client and therapist,” said Psychology Professor Kevin Krycka. “His focus on authentic dialogue and understanding enhances the therapeutic approach.”

Hansen’s presentation takes place at 6:30 p.m. on May 18, in Casey Commons. Psychotherapists may receive 2 CEUs for their participation. The event, which is free and open to the public, is made possible by the Master of Arts in Existential-Phenomenological Psychology program, one of seven advanced degree programs in the College of Arts and Sciences.
