  • Burgess Honored by The HistoryMakers

    Professor Gloria Burgess, Organization Systems Renewal Master’s Program, was honored this November by the The HistoryMakers at the 10th Anniversary Gala celebration in Chicago.  Burgess is a scholar, educator, and consultant whose expertise focuses on organizational change, intercultural leadership, innovation, and creativity. She joined the College of Arts and Sciences faculty this year.

    The HistoryMakers is an organization devoted to documenting, archiving, and celebrating the life, times, and contributions of those whose stories are often missing in our history—African-Americans who have influenced and shaped our culture.

    The OSR Master’s program, a two-year, cohort-based program that promotes organizational leadership, is one of seven advanced degree  programs in the College of Arts and Sciences.
