  • Graham to Speak on Arms Control

    Ambassador Thomas Graham, Jr., a leading authority on arms control and nuclear disarmament, presents "Nuclear Disarmament and the Future" at 7 p.m. on December 9 in Wyckoff Auditorium.  As President Clinton’s Ambassador on the nuclear issue, he conducted personal diplomacy in 40 countries to achieve the permanent extension of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Among Ambassador Graham’s books are Common Sense on Weapons of Mass Destruction and Preventing Catastrophe.  Now retired from government service, he teachesat the University of Washington's Institute for Global and Regional Security Studies.

    Graham’s presentation is made possible by the League of Women Voters , the College of Arts and Sciences, American Friends Service Committee , World Affairs Council , and others. It is free and open to the public.
