The Seattle University Debate Team dominated the
competition at the 80th Annual Mahaffey Memorial Debate Tournament held at
Linfield College last month. SU competed against 18 schools from throughout the
Pacific Northwest and took top honors, including several in the novice division
for students who are in their first year of collegiate competition. Honors went
to these SU Arts and Sciences debate team participants for their outstanding
