  • A&S Alumni Accepted to Youth Exchange Program

    May 21, 2009

Cordula Brown (Modern Languages and also CBYX faculty contact) announced that SU alumnus Andre Taegder (Business/German ‘08) has been accepted to participate in the 2009-2010 Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals!
75 participants were chosen from an applicant pool of nearly 500, and it is a great accomplishment that Mr. Taegder was chosen to take part in this unique study- and work-abroad fellowship.
Mr. Taegder was nominated for the CBYX Fellowship through SU's Office of Fellowships and he worked closely with Fellowships Coordinator, Luke Green. As an applicant, Andre convincingly documented his well-defined career goals with related work/internship experience, flexibility, good communication skills, diplomacy, and a strong sense of American identity.
We are pleased to congratulate to Mr. Taegder for this great achievement and wish him a good luck for the program.
