  • A&S Student is SU's Newest Truman Scholar

    Arts and Sciences junior Aerica Banks is the 2009 recipient of the prestigious Truman Scholarship, which provides $30,000 for graduate school studies. Banks is the fourth Truman scholar in as many years at Seattle U, which overall has produced 13 winners. In recent years SU has ranked among the top 15 institutions to achieve this honor. Banks is is a senior in Environmental Studies with a Specialization in Public Policy and Urban Affairs, and a graduate of the Core Honors Program.
