  • Lindsey Wasson Wins Photography Award

    Photography major Lindsey Wasson ’13 was acknowledged for her photography by the Society of Professional Journalists Northwest. The 2nd place award in the online gallery/slideshow category was made at the organization’s Awards Gala on May 18. Wasson, who graduated in June, was one of three photojournalists who created “Photos of Year” for the
    Wasson had been a familiar face on campus as an event photographer for the university, photo editor for The Spectator, visual arts editor of Fragments Magazine, and chair of the Student Executive Council. She has also been a freelancer for The Chicago Tribune and large nonprofits, including Chorus America. Wasson interned at the online daily newspaper during her junior year and is starting an internship at The Seattle Times. 

    The College of Arts and Sciences, the largest college in Seattle University, offers 42 undergraduate majors, 37 minors, 6 master’s degrees and 1 post-baccalaureate ciertificate.
