Morris, director of the chamber and instrumental music program in the Fine
Arts Department, will present on entrepreneurship for young artists on June
23, 2013. The presentation is part of TEDxSeattle. TEDxSeattle,
a locally organized event affiliated with the national office, features
prominent thinkers across the disciplines.
“I am very excited to have
been selected to speak on such a prestigious series. TED is known all over the
world and I’m thrilled to be able to share my knowledge with a broader
audience,” Morris said.
In addition to his teaching and concerts on
campus, Morris has just completed a world tour where he presented chamber music
recitals and student master classes in France, South Africa, and The
Morris’s presentation takes place at on June 23 at the
