ASGC Representatives

Alli Krous – MSAL (Co-President)
Alli Krous is a second year student in the Master of Sport Administration and Leadership program. She is also a full-time intern with the WIAA (Washington Interscholastic Activities Association) handling their social media and website articles. Alli also serves as the Graduate Student Council Vice Chair of Finance and Strategic Planning.  

Kristen Morgan – MPA (Co-President)     
Kristen Morgan, Master of Public Administration Program Candidate, currently works for Seattle University's College of Arts and Sciences in  Marketing and Communications. In addition to the ASGC, she serves on the Bookstore Advisory Board as a Graduate Student Representative. After graduating from Seattle U with a BA in Political Science, she joined the Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest and served at the Matt Talbot Center, an intensive outpatient drug and alcohol treatment program for adults in downtown Seattle. She will graduate in August of 2013.

Caitlin Nunberg -  MPA (Secretary)     
Caitlin Nunberg is a second year student in the Master of Public Administration program. Her area of focus is nonprofit administration and she currently works as a Program Manager at Junior Achievement of Washington, a nonprofit that aims to inspire and prepare young people to own their economic success.  

Kelly Meduna -  MACJ  (Marketing)
Kelly Meduna is in her second year as a student in the Master of Criminal Justice program. She currently works as an office assistant for the Seattle University Department of Public Safety and Transportation. Prior to attending Seattle University, she graduated from Washington State University with a double major in Criminal Justice and Sociology. 

Liz Dawson - MFA (Co-Communication Chair)
Liz Dawson, a first year MFA student in the Arts Leadership program, hails from Annapolis, Maryland.  She holds two Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Dance and English Language and Literature from the University of Maryland.  While there, she was a Creative and Performing Arts Scholar as well as a dual recipient of the Dorothy Madden Citizenship Award for Outstanding Artistry and Choreography.  Currently, Liz works as the Event Planning and Development Intern at the Pacific Northwest Ballet, the Administrative Intern at Velocity Dance Center, and teaches dance classes at the YMCA.  She's very excited to join the Arts and Sciences Graduate Council!

Justine Thayer - MFA (Co-Communication Chair)
Justine Thayer, a current member of the MFA in Arts Leadership Program, completed her Bachelors education at the University of Washington where she double majored in Art History and English Language and Literature. Her experience in the arts includes past internships at the University of Washington’s Jacob Lawrence Gallery, the Frye Art Museum in Special Events and Ticketing, and at the Seattle Art Museum in Adult Public Programs. Her career ambitions include working in administration or programming in arts nonprofits.

Jane Poore -  MACJ   (Outreach Coordinator)  
Jane Poore received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice with a Forensic Psychology specialization in 2011 at Seattle University. Upon graduation, she was offered a partial scholarship to continue her education at Seattle University and applied to the Master of Arts Criminal Justice Program. This is her second year as a graduate student and she hopes to complete her Master of Arts Criminal Justice Degree with an Investigative Criminology specialization, Certificate in Crime Analysis, and thesis by the end of next year. She is also working part time at the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission as a Tactical and Firearms Administrative Assistant in the Range. This is her first time joining the Arts and Science Graduate Council and she is very excited for the opportunity!

Jessica Khoshnood - MSAL 
Jessica is in her second year of the Masters in Sports Administration and Leadership program. She is currently working as the graduate assistant for development and donor relations in the Seattle University Athletic Department and is a development intern for Special Olympics Washington. This is her first year on the Arts and Sciences Graduate Council.

Carrie Mandak – MPA  
Carrie Mandak is in her 2nd year of the Masters of Public Administration program, mother of an eleven year old and currently employed at Seattle Public Utilities.

Rachel Sorrels  MFA 
Rachel R. Sorrels has received a Bachelor of Arts in both Theater and Political Science from the University of Kansas.  She is a first year grad student in the Arts Leadership MFA program  She is also a Graduate Assistant for the Faculty Services department at Seattle University and an intern at Seattle Musical Theatre.  Rachel feels theater is a necessary part of the growth and development of all communities. 

Breanne Trotter -  MACJ    
Breanne Trotter is just starting her second year in the Masters Criminal Justice and Crime Anaylsis Certificate. She will graduate in June 2013. This is also her second year on the ASGC as a CJ rep.

Laura Hauck, M.Ed. (Academic Advisor)  
Laura Hauck began her academic career as an undergraduate student in the College of Arts and Sciences at Seattle University, majoring in Spanish and Sociology. Laura began her advising career in the SU Albers School of Business and Economics graduate programs and currently serves as an advisor to the following Arts and Sciences populations: transfer, graduate, readmit, post-baccalaureate, reciprocal exchange, Running Start, and Pacific Northwest Ballet.
