In addition, the Puget Sound chapter of the Public Relations Society of America announced today that Barry Mitzman and Professor Soon Beng Yeap, also Director of Marketing and Communications for the University, will be receiving its annual "PR Professional of the Year" award for 2009. PRSA is honoring Barry and Soon Beng for their work in developing the Center for Strategic Communications and for the contributions it and they are making to the public relations industry.
