Biography

Ellen Walker is in her ninth season as Director of Marketing & Communications for Pacific Northwest Ballet.  Ms. Walker is responsible for earned revenues of $10 to $12 annually for PNB, a highly respected ballet company with a $22 million annual budget. She is currently completing the final phases of PNB’s four-year Wallace Foundation Arts Excellence Award project to attract young audiences to ballet, which is the subject of a Wallace-funded case study to be published in 2013. Prior to joining PNB, she was a strategic marketing and sponsorship consultant to arts and civic organizations.  From 1988 to 2000 Ms. Walker was Director of Marketing for Seattle Children’s Theatre. Ms. Walker is a native of Seattle, Washington with degrees from the University of Washington and Trinity College, Dublin.
