Capital Campaign

Seattle University is entering a promising and exciting new phase in its history, thanks to support of alumni and friends who have contributed more than $120 milion to the Campaign for Seattle University: For the Difference We Make. That number keeps rising as we close in on our goal of $160 million. This effort will transform the university by supporting a new library and learning commons, scholarships, faculty excellence, a student fitness facility, and a multitude of programs to enhance our mission as a Jesuit Catholic university, in service to the city, region and beyond. The campaign's public launch on April 10 signals a critical juncture, in which the support of all alumni and friends will be sought. Support the SU Fund

Annual gifts to the Seattle University Fund make an immediate impact on our campus, by providing the funds needed for providing scholarships to deserving students, improving campus facilities, and recruiting and retaining outstanding faculty—just to name a few critical initiatives.

• 8 out of 10 students require some form of financial aid
• Tuition and fees only cover 75% of the actual cost of a Seattle University education, and donations to the SU Fund help to make up the difference.
• The cumulative effect of every gift is significant. Each year thousands of SU alumni, friends, parents, faculty and staff make gifts to the SU Fund. Last year, alone, these gifts totaled over $2.1 million.
