    Dear Seattle U Alumni -

On behalf of the Alumni Association and the Office of Alumni Relations at Seattle University, I want to say "welcome home."  As a double alum of Seattle University, I want you to know that it is an honor to be working for you, my fellow alums. The staff of the Office of Alumni Relations and the Alumni Board of Governors are dedicated to the vision and mission of Seattle University.  To further this vision and mission of Seattle University, our goal is to "Be a world class alumni relations office and presence for Seattle University".

We commit ourselves to connecting with you and look forward to your involvement and participation in the many opportunities that Seattle University has to offer.  We are committed to enhance and advance the reputation of our institution for you and future graduates who will join the ranks of the nearly 67,000 alumni of Seattle University.  Since June we have made improvements to our programs and events, communications strategy, career services plan, online and social media presence and campus partnerships.  Informed by the alumni survey conducted last year, we have developed a strategic plan with a commitment to evaluate and update our programs for all of our alumni.

I want you, our alumni to know that we are listening, and putting to use everyday what you told us in the alumni survey.  Your input has helped guide how we are designing our programs, events, and services to encourage you to stay connected to your alma mater.  And, I look forward to the opportunity to work with you as we move forward with launching our strategic plans and initiatives in support of you, our alumni.  Anytime throughout the year, you are invited to stop in and see us on campus at the Alumni Building on the corner of 12th & Marion, your home when you come to SU!  I hope you will visit our website, www.seattleu.edu/alumni  to learn more about your alumni community and to find a list of our upcoming events and benefits.

I thank you for your continued support of our alma mater and the Seattle University Alumni Association.
    With Warmest Regards,

    Susan Vosper (Woerdehoff), '90, '10
