Regional Chapters

All regional chapters have a central city for getting together. Alumni, friends, parents, and students (during the school breaks) living within a 50 mile radius of that point are always invited.

  Focus: High school outreach/admissions, mentorship, social networking.

  Focus: Social networking

• North Puget Sound Alumni Chapter (San Juan Islands, Whidbey, Everett, Snohomish)
  
  
• San Francisco Alumni Chapter
  Focus: social networking, community service.

• Spokane Alumni Chapter
  

  Focuses: To facilitate the building and growth of relationships among alumni in the Spokane area, to build alumni pride in SU and highlight the institutional identity, to engage alumni as volunteer leaders in activities which support the university’s mission and goals, to offer alumni opportunities to engage in activities which help to support their personal and professional goals

• Southwest Washington and Oregon Alumni Chapter
  Focus: Social networking (specifically bridging generational gap between older and younger alumni) and mentorship/community outreach.
  
  Chapter Lead: Steve Lindell. We are also looking for alumni interested in leadership for this chapter.
  
  
• Yakima Alumni Chapter
  

  Focus: To facilitate the building and growth of relationships among alumni in the Yakima area
  To build alumni pride in SU and highlight the institutional identity

  To engage alumni as volunteer leaders in activities which support the university’s mission and goals

  To offer alumni opportunities to engage in activities which help to support their personal and professional goals

  Specific Events: Chapter Meetings, Annual Alumni Reception, Attended a Yakima Bears Baseball Game, Holiday Mass

• Washington, D.C. Alumni Chapter
  This area extends out to Maryland, Virginia, Baltimore, and the surrounding parameter of 30-40 miles of DC. Focus: connecting older and younger alumni- social networking and spirituality.*
  
  Chapter lead: Terence Plaskon. We are also looking for alumni interested in leadership for this chapter.
