SU License Plates

  • Help SU Get License Plates on the Roads of Washington State!
We need you to take action!

The Seattle University Alumni Board of Governors has gathered the required 3,500 signatures to get Seattle U License Plates on the road. The bill was introduced in the Washington State Legislature and can be viewed online, but there's one more thing that needs to happen to make these plates a reality.

    Email Subject Line:
My Support for SB 5259 – Seattle U License Plates
    Email Body:
    Dear Senators King and Eide:

I am writing to voice my support of Senate Bill 5259, “Creating Seattle University special license
plates” and respectfully request that a public hearing be held to consider this bill. The university,
along with its alumni, is working to pass SB5259 which would create the Seattle University
Alumni license plate. Every dollar raised via the purchase of this license plate will go toward the
student scholarship fund, assisting current and future students with financial aid for tuition. For
the 2012-2013 freshman class, 94% of incoming students received financial aid from
the university, and scholarships help to make higher education opportunities possible for
    residents of our state.

Thank you for your consideration of this bill.
    Regards,
