Personal Bio
Rob Bourke began his career as a U.S. Navy officer serving in Operation Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf and afterwards guided his destroyer into port in Seattle to participate in Sea Fair. Later, as a civilian, Rob blended his management and public relations education and skills with his Navy experience to take on leadership of the brand new alumni relations program at the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey California. He arrived at Albers in 2008 having grown the program at NPS from 12,000 to over 50,000 addressable graduates with a full program of alumni events around the country. Rob is an active member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education and serves on the board and convention committee of a regional nonprofit.
