I worked as an economist for 30 years at Weyerhaeuser Company, so a great deal of experinece working in the manufacturing sector. My position was discontinued in 2011 and am now working in government.
Job Description
As Chief Economist I am the supervisor the 10 regional economists distributed throughout the state. I work with the state legislators and other policy makers helping them to understand labor market trends and the forces driving them within the state. I also work with people in the news media to to understand the same issues.

When and where do you hold meetings with your students?
On campus is fine. Given my work schedule, 6:30 or after. Preferred nights are Tu, We, Th. I can also do it on weekends. I can be flexible to accomodate the student.
