Microsoft Studios is the video game production wing for Microsoft, responsible for the development and publishing of games for the Xbox 360, Windows and Windows Phone platforms.

Job Description

I provide business, strategic and financial planning for Microsoft-published games on Xbox 360. I also manage strategic business relationships with development partners in France and England and key outsourcing partners in the US, China, India and Germany.

Employment History

I've been at Microsoft for over 9 years working on products such as Xbox 360, Kinect, Windows, Microsoft Office in Business Management, Marketing and Finance roles. Previously, I worked at National Bank of Alaska, Washington Mutual and Sierra-Online/Vivendi/Activision-Blizzard in Marketing and Finance roles. I am a member of the SU Albers Alumni Advisory Board.

Education

MBA and BABA, majoring in Finance, both from Seattle University.

When and where do you hold meetings with your students?

On or around campus in late afternoons/evenings, or at the Microsoft Studio West campus in Redmond.
