Lee Hecht Harrison
Passionate executive with vast experience in career coaching, interview and resume strategies, effective networking, mentoring, relationship development, marketing, newspaper (media) operations and sales, and customer acquisition/retention strategies.
Known for strong leadership, team development, unparalleled customer focus and creative problem solving, leading to profitable growth. Articulate communicator, able to develop trust with stakeholders across all levels of an organization quickly and effectively.
I spent more than 25 years in the print media world (more than 22 with USA TODAY - The Nation's largest and most widely-read newspaper) before changing direction and moving into the world of Career Coaching. I currently am focused on engaging students with employers, employers with students, and business partners with area universities.
I do this through deliberate and intentional networking with purpose, management of creative and fun events, engagement with a wide variety of stakeholders, and living the stated SPU university mission of “engaging the culture, (and) changing the world.”
Improving and increasing student/professional engagement through effective teaching, coaching, mentoring and communication is my mission each day.
A frequent campus presenter, guest speaker and coach on LinkedIn, interviewing, resumes and networking, I strive to achieve positive measurable outcomes with each connection I make.
