Job Description

Dan provides communications strategies and media coaching for a select group of global clients while continuing to consult for DDB Worldwide, after almost 20 years as Senior Vice President, Managing Director of DDB Public Relations. As a member of the company’s Integrated Solutions Group, he was responsible for providing communications strategies to the advertising giant’s 206 offices in 99 countries. Dan lead a host of award-winning teams on premium accounts such as State Farm Insurance, Citibank USA, Weyerhaeuser, Microsoft, McDonald’s, Cirque du Soleil, the Summer and Winter Olympic Games, the America’s Cup sailing races and World Cup Soccer.

Employment History

Career includes experience as a newspaper correspondent, television news producer, and corporate investor relations and public relations director. He has counseled countless national and international companies and organizations, sports and media stars, two Presidents and the Dalai Lama throughout his celebrated career. His crisis communications programs have been recognized internationally and his relationships with the news media have made him a much sought after media coach and trainer. He is a pioneer in defining and refining storytelling as the most effective method of communicating business strategies and products. He has followed his clients across China to Mount Everest, to the Arctic Circle and around the Seven Seas to tell their stories. In 2006, he received the ultimate honor from the Public Relations Society of America when he was presented its Lifetime Achievement Award.
