Seattle University’s Accounting Department invites applications for a one-year Instructor position beginning September 2012. As part of the Albers School of Business and Economics, the Accounting Department offers a BABA in Accounting and an MPAC degree. The Accounting Department’s MPAC program is currently ranked 19th in the nation and the undergraduate program is currently ranked 21st in the nation by U.S. News and World Reports.
The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively teaching a variety of financial accounting courses at the undergraduate and graduate level, meeting with students, holding office hours, attending department meetings, and providing additional service on department and school committees. Qualifications include a Masters Degree in Business, experience teaching basic and intermediate financial accounting courses at the university level and current relevant work experience.
