Albers Programs are Nationally Recognized
Undergraduate Programs
The Albers School of Business and Economics is continually ranked among the best business programs in the country by U.S. News & World Report. The undergraduate program was tied for #117 in 2013, which placed us among the Top 50 private schools in the US. Among specialty programs, our undergraduate finance program was ranked #22 (2nd in the Northwest) and our accounting program was tied for #26, (2nd in the Northwest).
Bloomberg BusinessWeek ranked Albers 2nd in the Northwest in their 2013 edition of "Best College Business Programs." We were ranked #67 in the nation, which also placed us 9th in the West. We received “A” ratings in teaching, facilities, and job placement. Based on their 2013 survey of students, Albers ranked #3 in the nation in the specialty area of sustainability. Additional specialty areas are yet to be announced. Based on their 2012 survey of students, three subjects at Albers were ranked in the Top 10 in the nation by Bloomberg BusinessWeek: macroeconomics (#5), business ethics (#7), and sustainability (#7). Two other subjects were also in the Top 25: quantitative analysis (#21) and microeconomics (#23).
Graduate Programs
Our graduate programs are also among the best in the nation. Our part-time MBA program was ranked by U.S. News & World Report #60 for 2014. This places us 26th among private schools and 2nd in Washington and the Pacific Northwest. Our Accounting specialization is ranked 19th in the nation.
In 2011 BusinessWeek ranked the Albers part-time MBA program 52nd in the nation, which placed us 11th in the West.
The Princeton Review included the Albers MBA program in their “2012 Best 294 Business Schools” publication.
Albers was among the top 100 on the Beyond Grey Pinstripes 2012 list for preparing students for social and environmental stewardship. We placed #82.
The Albers Leadership Executive MBA was ranked #19 in the nation in U.S. News & World Report’s 2014 rankings. This was the fifth year in a row that we placed in the Top 25.
