Seattle University invites applications for a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting beginning September 2013. The Department of Accounting offers the BABA with a concentration in Accounting and the MPAC degree, including a business valuation specialization. The Accounting Department’s MPAC program is currently ranked 19th in the nation and the undergraduate program is currently ranked 21st in the nation by U.S. News and World Reports. Job responsibilities include teaching, research, and service. Requirements for the position include: PhD in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited institution prior to the date of employment; established record or promise of excellence in scholarship and teaching; ability to teach a range of courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs in the areas of financial accounting and/or auditing.
