Albers Career Night
Albers undergrad juniors and seniors are encouraged to attend this event during spring quarter for the opportunity to make connections with alumni, mentors, and employers and enhance their career development. Attendees come from a variety of industries such as finance, marketing, international business, operations, HR, and consulting to provide information to students about career fields and advice on job searching. Attending this event can be beneficial to students who are in a job search or exploring their career interests. A workshop on networking skills is provided prior to the event to help students get prepared. For event information, check the About the Center page during spring quarter.
Albers Networking Reception for Grad Students
This Networking Reception provides Albers grad students with an opportunity to connect with local companies, to explore various career options, and to build their professional network. The Networking Fair includes leading employers from the Greater Puget Sound business area and successful business leaders from the Albers Dean’s Advisory Board and Albers Mentor Program. Companies that have been represented in the past include: Accenture, Amazon.com, Boeing, CB Richard Ellis, Expeditors International, Group Health Cooperative, MCM - A Meisenbach Company, Medtronic Emergency Response System, Microsoft, Nordstrom, PACCAR, Point B Solutions, Projectline Services, REI, Russell Investment Group, Starbucks, Symetra Financial, T-Mobile, U.S. Bank, Vulcan & Wells Fargo. This event is held during the spring quarter. A workshop on networking skills will be provided a couple of weeks prior to the event to help students get prepared. Etiquette Dinner
The Etiquette Dinner is in the winter quarter and provides a wonderful opportunity for students to learn business dining etiquette and networking skills. The event is usually facilitated by an external professional etiquette speaker who helps students practice professional etiquette and social skills that can be used at interviews, business luncheons and networking events. Cost to the student is minimal. Check the About the Center page for event information in winter quarter.
