Certificate of Post-MIB Studies
Graduate Certificate Requirements
from Seattle University's 2012-2013 Graduate Catalog
The certificate of post-MIB studies offers continuing graduate study in a specific business discipline to graduates of AACSB International accredited master of international business programs.
A completed application will include a current resume, graduate transcripts showing posted graduate degree, and GMAT scores.
The curriculum consists of six graduate courses, plus prerequisites, from the Albers School of Business and Economics. After a review of the student’s background and interests, the MIB director will designate the courses required. Certificates are awarded in the following areas of specialization:
- accounting
- economics
- information systems
- entrepreneurship
- international business
- management
- marketing
Credits earned for the certificate may be applied to other graduate degrees.
Upon successful completion of the program requirements, students will have posted to their transcripts the entry “Certificate of Post-MIB" or "Certificate of Post-MIB Studies in (insert discipline)” and be issued a certificate listing the discipline studied.
The program is open to graduates of MIB programs accredited by AACSB International or from recognized international MIB programs with prior approval by the dean. Application requires submission of completed application, current resume, and graduate transcripts. Seattle University MIB graduates generally will be considered eligible for the program.
