PMI China Engagement Initiative Scholarship
Thanks to the support from Pacific Market International (PMI), the Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University is able to offer a scholarship of $5,000 per year (maximum of two years) to a new student from China who is pursuing a graduate business degree at Seattle University.
The purpose of the scholarship is to facilitate and enrich interaction between students from both China and the United States, equip students to be innovative in their thinking about the relationship between the two countries, and to foster an increased understanding of the US economy.
In addition to the application, applicants to this scholarship must submit an essay describing how they will facilitate increased interaction and understanding among students.
Once selected, the recipient is expected to provide the donor a report on how they benefited from the scholarship and meet for periodic dinners between the donor and the student, so they can personally report on their experience.
The deadline to apply for 2013-2014 academic year is June 30, 2013. The application is available here.
