Albers Graduate Scholarships
Albers offers various scholarships to graduate students in the MBA, MSF, and MPAC programs. Most are based on financial need and academic achievement. Students need to complete and submit only ONE application form to be eligible for any of the scholarships noted below.
To be eligible for these scholarships, domestic students should fill out a FAFSA via our Financial Aid Office at: http://www.seattleu.edu/financial-aid/receiving/fafsa/ This FAFSA is necessary to help determine need for several of our available scholarships.
International students are also encouraged to apply for scholarships. International students are not required to fill out a FAFSA.
Please be advised that this year’s scholarship application is a two-step process:
Your scholarship essay (no more than 500 words) should address how this award would assist you in meeting your educational requirements at Seattle University. It should also address the amount of hours you work per week, your extracurricular and leadership activities, community service involvement, and how you demonstrate the Jesuit ethos of competence, conscience, and compassion. Please make sure to put your name and SU ID # on your scholarship essay.
The deadline to submit both your scholarship application and scholarship essay is Monday, September 30th at 5:00 pm Pacific Daylight Time.
Scholarships will be reviewed the week of October 1st and awarded as soon as possible after that.

PMI China Engagement Initiative Scholarship
Thanks to the support from Pacific Market International (PMI), the Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University is able to offer a scholarship of $5,000 per year (maximum of two years) to a new student from China who is pursuing a graduate business degree at Seattle University.
The purpose of the scholarship is to facilitate and enrich interaction between students from both China and the United States, equip students to be innovative in their thinking about the relationship between the two countries, and to foster an increased understanding of the US economy.
In addition to the application, applicants to this scholarship must submit an essay describing how they will facilitate increased interaction and understanding among students.
Once selected, the recipient is expected to provide the donor a report on how they benefited from the scholarship and meet for periodic dinners between the donor and the student, so they can personally report on their experience.
The deadline to apply for 2013-2014 academic year is June 30, 2013. The application is available here.
