Personal Bio
Bruce Koch was appointed as chair of the Department of Accounting in July, 2008. He teaches primarily in the area of financial and managerial accounting. His research includes many areas, such as capital budgeting, tax simplification, offshore outsourcing, and decision making in a cognitive psychological framework. Dr. Koch has published in the leading journals in accounting including the Accounting Review, Accounting Organizations and Society, The Journal of the American Taxation Association, Journal of Management Accounting Research, and the Engineering Economist. He has taught and written courses for the AICPA, IBM and other companies.
