Personal Bio
Tina’s research interest is in managerial incentives and monitoring as well as financial and nonfinancial reporting issues. Her archival work investigates compensation regulation, premiums, emulation, votes and valuation, while her experimental work examines nonfinancial factors in investment, audit and tax decisions. Her work is published in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Management Accounting Research, Behavioral Research in Accounting, and Issues in Accounting Education. She serves as an Associate Editor for Issues of Accounting Education, and is the Accounting Behavior and Organizations Section Liaison for the Western Region American Accounting Association. Prior to entering academia, she worked in the Japanese Tax and Audit Practice of KPMG LLP in New York City and in the Office of International Education and Exchange at the University of Oregon in Eugene.
