Personal Bio

Gail Yates is an experienced not-for-profit CEO, fundraiser, marketer, and leader in both the public and private sectors. She led the creation of a statewide education and youth serving organization in the United States. She is an accomplished leader in organizational development, team leadership, and community alliances. Ms. Yates has developed extensive global corporate contacts from recruiting corporate speakers in Asia, Latin America, Europe, and North America. Currently Ms. Yates is employed by Seattle University as the senior development officer there for the Albers School of Business and Economics. A former Rotarian in Arizona in the U.S., Ms. Yates is a Paul Harris Fellow and Centurion and was the first woman member of Phoenix Rotary Club #100. She has been the recipient of many honors and has actively volunteered as a community leader. Currently, in Seattle, she is active with Sojourner House, a women’s transitional housing organization as a volunteer and speaker and Girl Scouts where she serves on the audit and finance committees.
