Albers is accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. As of July 2014, less than five percent of the world’s business schools and less than one third of U.S. business schools have achieved business accreditation from AACSB.
Kent Johnson has a business career that has spanned over thirty-five years of dynamic business experience and various leadership positions including CEO, COO, CFO, Managing Director, Board member, investment banker, venture capitalist, private investor and consultant. Involved directly in one or more of these roles in over 45 start-up and emerging growth companies and five public companies that combined raised in excess of $300 million in various forms of private and public equity and debt financings. Skilled additionally in mergers and acquisitions, strategic/tactical planning and positioning of companies and products for maximization of shareholder value, and detail hands-on experience in all functional areas of business, including marketing, sales, operations, engineering, finance, administration and legal. Currently a director of Halosource Corporation, Netmotion Wireless, Vera Fitness, and Overdrive Systems of Cleveland, Ohio and formerly was a Director of numerous Northwest companies including F5 Networks, SelfCharge Battery, MicroRim, and Ostex International. Kent was also a CPA with Arthur Andersen, LLP and an officer in the United States Army. Kent is a Trustee of Seattle University and endowed the Lawrence K. Johnson Chair of Entrepreneurship in his Father's name and in 1991 was selected by SU as one of the 100 outstanding alumni covering its 100 year history.
