Albers is accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. As of July 2014, less than five percent of the world’s business schools and less than one third of U.S. business schools have achieved business accreditation from AACSB.
Eric's research interests include topics in corporate governance, corporate finance, and entrepreneurial finance. Past publications in The Journal of Financial Research and The Journal of Law and Economics focus on insider trading and the reputational penalties for environmental violations, respectively. He has contributed as a writer or served as a technical editor on a number of books. Prior to entering academia, he worked as Vice President of Finance of ePods, Inc. and as Vice President, Relationship Manager of Wells Fargo Bank. While employed as a corporate banker, he earned the Certified Cash Manager distinction, and is a member of the Jesuit National Honor Society, Alpha Sigma Nu. Eric also enjoys hiking, climbing mountains, and other outdoor adventures; his rock climbs and ski descents have been featured in mountaineering journals.
