Albers is accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. As of July 2014, less than five percent of the world’s business schools and less than one third of U.S. business schools have achieved business accreditation from AACSB.
Ekaterina Emm holds a PhD and master’s degrees in finance from Georgia State University and an undergraduate degree from Boston University. Prior to joining the faculty at Seattle University, she worked as a research associate at the Triangle Census Research Data Center at Duke University. Her research focuses on corporate restructuring and risk management. Dr. Emm's scholarly work has been published in the Journal of Applied Corporate Finance, Journal of Futures Market, and Corporate Finance Review. She is a member of the American Finance Association and Financial Management Association.
