The Office of Inspector General (OIG) provides independent and objective oversight for the Dept. of Commerce through review of their programs and operations. OIG also reviews external activities funded by the Department through contracts or financial assistance (loans, grants, and cooperative agreements).
Perform single audits, performance audits and evaluations, and financial audits on Dept. of Commerce programs and recipients of Commerce assistance and/or contracts.
